We are sharing interesting news related to our management team! As of November 16, Horizons Bulgaria has a new member in the management team — Katya Sotirova has joined, replacing Milen Ivanov. Milen remains a shareholder in the company, but is now focusing on a new role at Sofia Angels Ventures.
Two leaders, two new directions
As Managing Director, Katya will focus on marketing, digitalization, finance, and administration at Horizons Bulgaria.
Milen remains a shareholder in Horizons Bulgaria, but is now dedicating his focus to a new role at Sofia Angels Ventures.
Rich Academic and Practical Experience
Katya has extremely rich academic and practical experience, spanning various industries alongside strong academic achievements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics
- Master’s degree in Digital Marketing and Business Administration
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Economics
- Over 15 years as Managing Director of a Digital Marketing Agency
- E-commerce Consultant
- Development of Innovative Digital Products Consultant
- Licensed Lecturer on Digital Skills at the Employment Agency
- Experience across multiple projects
Nikolay Nikolov Continues as Partner
Nikolay Nikolov remains a partner, Managing Director, and member of the operational management of the company. From now on, he will focus on business development, sales, the consulting team, and new services and projects.
With Katya Sotirova joining the management team and Nikolay Nikolov continuing to drive business development, Horizons Bulgaria enters this new chapter with a strengthened leadership team — and we thank Milen Ivanov for his contribution as we wish him well at Sofia Angels Ventures.
