Our client is an international company operating in the wine industry. The Bulgarian operation includes production activities, relationships with suppliers and producers, growers, logistics, and supply chain management.
For its growing Bulgarian operational platform, the company is looking for an experienced Manager of Operations.
Key responsibilities
What you will do
Operations, Production & Supply Chain
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operational activities
- Plan and coordinate production
- Manage relationships with suppliers, producers and key partners
- Oversee procurement, supply chain, logistics and inventory
Performance, Budget & Strategic Development
- Manage and control the operational budget and costs
- Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports
- Optimize processes and develop efficient operating systems
- Identify and proactively address operational issues
- Manage the team and coordinate activities across different functions and external partners
- Participate in strategic projects related to the development of production facilities and the business
Requirements
Who we are looking for
Experience & Background
- 5–10 years of professional experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Production, Procurement, Logistics or a related field
- At least 2–4 years of experience managing people, suppliers, budgets or significant operational projects
- Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, agricultural processing, logistics or supply chain
- Wine industry experience is an advantage but is not mandatory
Skills & Competencies
- Good understanding of operational planning, KPIs, budgeting and cost control
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
- Fluent English
- Proactive approach, independence and a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to make decisions, anticipate problems and develop solutions
- High motivation for professional growth and taking on increasing responsibility
