Our client is a dynamically growing pharmaceutical wholesaler based in Plovdiv, specializing in the distribution of medicines on the Bulgarian market. Due to company growth, they are looking for an experienced and results-driven Procurement Specialist / Buyer to join their procurement team.
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring medicines on the Bulgarian market – establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating purchase terms, and actively monitoring the availability and prices of pharmaceutical products.
Key responsibilities
What you will do
Sourcing & Supplier Relations
- Actively search for supply sources of medicines on the Bulgarian market
- Establish and maintain contacts with suppliers and wholesalers
- Build long-term business relationships that ensure supply stability
Negotiation & Market Monitoring
- Negotiate purchase terms – price, availability, and delivery deadlines
- Continuously monitor the pharmaceutical market and competitor pricing
- Track availability and prices of pharmaceutical products on an ongoing basis
Requirements
Who we are looking for
Experience & Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of the Bulgarian pharmaceutical market
- Proven effectiveness in achieving procurement results
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or wholesale industry is a plus
