Regional expansion — based in Sofia, Horizons Bulgaria initially operated regionally with its own offices in Romania and Serbia, and participation in projects across the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary. Over the following years, the company’s focus shifted to the Balkans, where it established itself as the market leader in executive search in Bulgaria.

National expansion and new services — between 2005 and 2008, Horizons Bulgaria rapidly developed on a national level, becoming one of the leading and largest recruitment agencies in Bulgaria by opening offices in the largest cities across the country and investing in diverse new HR services.

Two-brand model — recruitment activities were conducted under two separate brands: Horizons Bulgaria, specializing in standard search & selection recruitment for expert and middle management levels, and Horizons Executive Search, offering headhunting and executive search for top management — with a special focus on identifying leaders capable of managing strategic and operational change.

Independent agency — a new era — since 2012, Horizons Bulgaria has operated as an independent and leading recruitment agency headquartered in Sofia, with offices in Ruse (serving Northern Bulgaria) and Plovdiv (serving Southern Bulgaria). Strong partnerships in Romania and Serbia continue to establish Horizons as a reliable regional partner.
