Software Test Engineer – Automation Tests
Technologies in focus: Postman, PowerShell, .NET
Your responsibilities:
- Specification, implementation and administration of automation tests for our software products in the area of cyber security (email management, communication channels, collaborative platforms)
- Implementation of release tests and evaluation of the test results
- Creation and documentation of test cases and test scenarios
- Implementation, maintenance and deployment of virtual environments
- Support of the manual test engineers
- Continuous improvement of the knowledge about automation test methods and tools and active positioning of the knowledge in the company
Your experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related discipline or practical experience from a former position
- You have 3+ years’ (Senior: 5+ years) experience with software testing and test methods
- Very good understanding of the different types of tests (Functional tests, Unit tests, Performance Tests, Integration Tests etc.) and testing methodologies.
- You have experience of automation tools for web browser applications, such as Selenium, SoapUI or Postman
- You have good experience writing automation scripts in various script languages such as Perl, Python, Bash or PowerShell
- Experience programming in C# and .Net is a plus
- You have a good understanding of common programming concepts such as OOP, SOLID and DRY
- You have experience in the administration of virtual environments
- You have experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux administration
- You are familiar with the Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange platforms
- You have first experience with agile methodologies (particularly Scrum)
- You can present complex circumstances
- You have good English language and German language knowledge (desirable)
- You are open-minded about new technologies and like to work in a team
