Java Back-end Developer
Our client, a global IT services and solutions company, is in search of ambitious team players willing to work in dynamic environment. They provide business application solutions based on Cisco Technologies with ability to simplify, integrate and optimize collaboration and increase productivity for internal and client usage.
They have prominent experience in building scalable solutions, managing small, medium and large-scale projects as well as working with cutting edge technologies. When it comes to integrating cross-vendor solutions our client is first choice with its experience in the technology stacks of technology vendors like Cisco Systems, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Hortonworks and others.
General responsibilities:
- to be part of full product development lifecycle
- collaborate and influence your colleagues to improve product design and code
- proactively participate in design and architectural discussions
- research and implement new technologies and best-practices in actual projects
Main requirements:
- 5 years of experience with Java backend/server development & design experience + debugging client/server Java projects
- Experience using combined MacOs/linux and with unit and integration test frameworks
- Familiar with SQL schema and Query Design (Postgres)
- Prior experience working with network and application protocols (TCP, HTTP, TLS, SSH, etc), Web services (SOAP, XML, WSDL), Scrum or Kanban
Considered as a plus:
- AWS experience
- Past experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Skaffold
- Angular / React UI development
