The company provides integrated sourcing, inventory management, and operational procurement services, partnering closely with global pharma clients to ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuity within highly regulated technical environments.

As part of its expansion to Bulgaria, the company is currently looking to hire a Technical Buyer to support its on-site operations in Dupnitsa.

About the role

Technical Buyer

The Technical Buyer will be responsible for executing purchasing activities for technical inventory and spare parts supporting the customer’s maintenance operations.

The role is based on-site at the customer location in Dupnitsa and requires close day-to-day interaction with the client’s operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing & Sourcing

  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users and warehouse teams, converting inquiries into purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Understand technical requirements and gather relevant data for sourcing
  • Source suitable suppliers locally and within the EU/global market to achieve optimal cost and delivery performance
  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers based on customer demand
  • Align with the customer on critical inventory levels and priorities

Stakeholder Management & Performance

  • Regularly interact with customers and internal site stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with site safety and site requirements
  • Maintain daily communication with the client team via email and phone
  • Participate in regular on-site meetings
  • Provide reporting and analysis on procurement performance, including OTD and cost efficiency
  • Meet defined KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

Who we are looking for

Skills

  • Basic technical understanding relevant to MRO purchasing
  • Experience in purchasing or sourcing, preferably in a technical or maintenance environment
  • Familiarity with local and EU/global supplier markets
  • Strong computer skills — Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently on-site while operating under company management

Languages & Background

  • Strong communication skills in English for internal and global communication
  • Bulgarian — required for day-to-day communication with customers, suppliers, and site stakeholders
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification is preferred
  • Experience in technical procurement or purchasing in a local or regional environment
  • Experience working in a KPI-driven environment
