Due to their growing operations, JYSK Bulgaria is looking for a motivated Accountant to join the finance team at their head office in Bozhurishte.

About the role

Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and ensuring full compliance with Bulgarian legislation and corporate procedures.

The role is based at the JYSK head office in Bozhurishte and requires close collaboration with internal departments and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain accounting records in accordance with Bulgarian legislation
  • Enter financial data into the accounting system: booking of invoices, follow-up on cost and reconciliation accounts
  • Transactions with debtors and creditors, and fixed assets
  • Prepare, review, and submit regular and ad-hoc financial reports

Operations & Administration

  • Prepare, arrange, store, and control accounting documentation flow
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments
  • Ensure administrative operations in accordance with defined corporate procedures and concepts

Requirements

Who we are looking for

Education & Experience

  • University degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment
  • Thorough knowledge of Bulgarian accounting legislation
  • Experience preparing and submitting financial reports

Skills & Tools

  • Fluent Bulgarian and English
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounting software; SAP is a strong advantage
  • Self-driven, well-organized, and adaptive
  • Pro-active mindset with the ability to identify and maximize opportunities
