Managing Director
Our client is a Bulgarian company in the field of project and management consulting with over 20 years of history in aquiring European funding. In connection with the expansion of the company’s activities, we are looking to attract a professional with knowledge in the industry for the top management position of:
Managing Director
With strong experience and proven expertise in the management of projects for the provision of technical assistance to state administration structures at local, regional and central level, and consulting services to businesses for access to public funding.
Scope of the role:
• Managing the overall activities of the company on the basis of legal acts and good business practices;
• Structures and leads teams for the development, management and execution of projects with external financing, European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF), international financial institutions, community programs, programs under intergovernmental agreements;
• Forming partnerships for participation in tenders and contests;
• Attracting public and private clients to provide advisory assistance for grant funding;
• Responsible for the strategic planning and development of the company;
• Responsible for the operational and organizational arrangements of the company and for the financial results.
Requirements:
• Strong practical experience in consulting on the utilization of European funds and grant funding programs;
• Up to date knowledge of current European programs aimed at the private and public sector;
• Customer-oriented focus on business development;
• University education – in the field of economics, finance, business administration or other relevant;
• Experience in managing teams on projects with external funding (projects on the absorption of funds from European funds);
• Excellent command of the English language.
