Our client, Georgiev, Todorov & Co., a leading law firm is seeking an associate to join its reputable law practice. The dynamic firm culture is based on collaboration and dedication to clients.
The job profile
For its constantly growing customer’s portfolio, we are looking for a talented, business-oriented laywer to join its team in Sofia. The position requires 2-5 years in-depth knowledge and experience with various legal practices.
Attention to detail, the ability to work well in a group, as well as the ability to work independently, are important characteristics. Successful candidates will have strong academic credentials and excellent legal writing skills. Experience in a large law firm setting is also helpful.
The Lawyer
Job Responsibilities will include:
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, client agreements, vendor agreements.
- Review document compliance with state laws, rules and regulations, as well as adherence to best industry practices.
- Provide legal advice on an ongoing basis in different areas of law.
- Educate, advise, and counsel clients on legal issues affecting business decisions.
- Helping clients with the litigation processes and having professional interests in this particular direction.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- University degree from an accredited law school
- 2-5 years of practical legal experience
Skills:
- Fluent English on a professional level
- Excellent writing, oral communication, analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent business judgment with a capacity to make decisions and give advice, demonstrating an understanding of overall business objectives and risk
- Ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-moving, challenging and constantly changing environment
- Solid organizational and time management skills
- Results-oriented with outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other members of the legal department on inter-agency projects
- Ability to handle high-volume, multiple priorities
