Head of retail loans and standardized products

The unit’s purpose is to evaluate the credit risk for retails clients and standardized products in accordance with the internal bank rules and group risk standards and scoring models; monitoring the loan portfolio for the quality changes and analyses of the portfolio; measures for early identification of risk loans and reduction of risk for losses due to retail loans and standardized products; finance administration of loan portfolio during the whole period of the credit.

Responsibilities:

  • Participation to the Credit Committee
  • Recommend and implement the retail credit risk policy
  • Credit risk management of bank’s retail loans portfolio team
  • Apply the final credit application opinion, formalizing the decisions and preparing restructuring concepts for troubled enterprises within retail loan portfolio
  • Validation within internal rights for the credit assessment systems and other internal control systems with special regard to early identification of loan loss risks
  • Supervise, analyze discuss, structure and review credit applications submitted by business units and branches
  • Responsible for staff recruitment, training and supervision of the managed team in accordance with the internal staff management policy
  • Implements the Internal (Acts, Circulars, Rules, etc) and external regulatory framework
  • Provide reports and analytical information for the superior management 
  • Manage a progress tracking system for all valuations that are “in process” of execution


Requirements:

  • At least 5 years banking experience in the area of retail loans and risk analysis
  • Managerial experience related to people, processes and loan portfolio
  • University degree, preferably in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar 
  • Very good level of English language
  • Knowledge of legal framework for the credit institutions
  • Ability to communicate personally and in written form with different organizational level
  • Autonomous style of decision making, keeping tight deadlines
  • High level of analytical and information processing skills
  • Good knowledge of the local retail banking products market
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point), specific banking product/scoring software
