Our client, Tempus Trans is a Bulgarian-Lithuanian freight forwarding company providing partial and full cargo transportation services between North-East Europe and Balkan countries. Tempus Trans operates regular groupage lines between Baltic states, Poland and Bulgaria and mainly is focused on part load transportation from/to Bulgaria to/from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Norway.
For their expanding team in Bulgaria we are looking for experienced Business Development Manager in Logistics to join them.

Business Development Manager in Logistics

Main responsibilities:

●  Successfully initiate and develop business opportunities with new customers
●  Driving business growth, cultivating relationships, and expanding the market presence of the company
●  Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals
●  Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
●  Collaborate with other departments, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience
●  Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, track progress towards targets, and provide regular reports to management
●  Encompasses developing and implementing effective growth strategies
●  Forecasting business trends within the logistics sector, and managing the logistics team to ensure optimal performance
●  Build team with sales and operational people

Qualifications:

●  Proven track record of success in business development within the logistics industry, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
●  Experience in sales of transport services minimum 2 years
●  Strong understanding of logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management
●  Knowledge of competitive businesses from the sector
●  Excellent English skills
●  Innovative person, with strong negotiating and excellent communication skills
●  A keen eye for quality, process improvement and customer satisfaction is paramount in this position
●  Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
