Bulgarians are 12% richer than last year
The financial wealth of households increased with 12% on an annual basis and reached almost 41.8 bln BGN at the end of June 2012, according to Unicredit Bulbank’s quarterly report.
The increase in financial assets with around 945 mln. BGN during the second quarter is driven mainly by bank deposits. The household savings in banks increased with 14% in a year, amounting to 32.4 bln. BGN at the end of June.
While the financial wealth rises, the debt is diminishing at higher rates. This way the coefficient, measuring the levels of indebtedness (debt to financial assets) drops to 49%.Read more at http://www.economy.bg/
