Annual inflation in 2012
Inflation in Bulgaria was 4.2% in 2012, which is second highest annual inflation since the beginning of the financial crisis, after in 2010 life was 4.5% more expensive compared to the previous year. The National Statistics Institute announced the new data today. In 2011 annual inflation was 2.8 per cent.
The rise in consumer prices during crisis shows the decline in purchasing power of households, considering their income remains unchanged.
